  • Write your daily thoughts in your journal.
  • Write about a perfect day. Follow the link in your journal.
  • After you are finished with your perfect day journal, use the rest of the time to complete Days 1 through 4 in your journal. The rest of your class time is for completing any work you have not finished.
  • On Day 6, we will start to learn how to use Keynote. Be sure that your photographs on Day 2 and Day 3 are saved in your folder. We will use them on Day 6.
  • Save your work.
  • Log out.
  • Dismissal

  • Write your daily thoughts in your journal.
  • Write your HW in your journal, Day 4, at the top of the page. Write in a color other than black. Answer the HW Question, “How did you get your name?”. Write down the name of the person you asked and their relation to you.
  • Lesson: Firefox + Research + My Name
  • Complete the table for “My Name” on Day 4 of your journal.
  • Save all your work.
  • Log out.
  • Dismissal.

Final Project.  May 26, 2010

There is about a week left of creative writing.

June 2, 2010, all assignments for Creative Writing are due. Below is a checklist of assignments that you must have in your folder.

  • Creativity Writing Journal complete with a minimum of 12 journal entries.
  • 10 photographs saved in your folder
  • 1 slide show completed with grammar/punctuation conventions
  • 1 piece turned in for 319 class magazine

319 Class Magazine

The final project for the class is for 319 to create a collective class magazine. Your objective is contribute one page the magazine. In the end you will get a digital copy from Mr. Loreto.

Write about the 2009-2010 School Year. Below are a list of ideas to write about. Write a piece to explain the differences that have taken place. Choose one of the following options:

  • How has your life changed in the past school year?
  • What is something you learned in the past school year?
  • Write a list of the most memorable things that happened in the past school year.
  • Take photographs to create a photo essay. You tell a story with photographs. *Ask Mr. Loreto for details. (Photo Essay)
  • Interview someone from your class about the 2009-2010 school year.*Ask Mr. Loreto for details.
  • Review the classes you have taken. Give your education a grade.
  • What has happened in the world in 2009-2010? Write about an important even that has affected the lives of 319 in the 2009-2010 school year.
  • Create a drawing with captions.

Good morning.

Welcome to day 3 of Creative Writing. Open your journal and get started. Check this website everyday for tips, instructions and assignments. Below is the agenda for the day:

  • Write your daily thoughts.
  • Go to Day 3 in your journal and begin writing about your name.
  • Get out your homework and place it on your work station table top. (*If you forgot, ask for a note card from Mr. Loreto)
  • Introduction to Photo Booth (Beginner’s Guide to Photo Booth for Review)
  • Your Photo Booth Assignment: You need to take the following 7  photographs.
  • 3 photographs of you (portrait, right profile,  and left profile), 4 photographs of your HW assignment.
  • Save all your photographs in your folder and rename them all.
  • Delete all photographs from Photo Booth.
  • Save

319, Day Seventeen, Keynote

Day Seventeen.

Below is the agenda for your assignments for the day:

  • 1. Write your daily thoughts in your Day Seventeen Journal.
  • 2. Look through your journal and “delete” anything you did not write or put into your journal. This should include any instructions and sample writings by Mr. Loreto. Mr. Loreto will check in with you to give you a journal grade.
  • 3. Use your photo booth camera to take pictures of your writings from when we were in the classroom. Place those on the appropriate days in your journal as a photograph.
  • Complete typing any writings that you would like to you use for your slide show. The choices are :
  • (1) Your Time Line, (2) Your School Writing and/or (3) Your Time Line Event Writing
  • Work on your Keynote. Make all your slides. Use this video link to help you review the Keynote Controls.
  • Save all your work.
  • Logout.
  • Dismissal
