Final day of creative writing. Today we will be finishing our journals, our slide shows and we will be sharing. Today you will play your shows and see what your classmates have been doing for the past three weeks. We will also be reflecting on creative writing and how much you learned in class.

Finish Journals and Slide Shows:

  • The first part of class, instead of your journal, save your journals and make sure you have them all saved as Word documents and PowerPoint presentations.
Save your journal as a WORD document.
Save your slide shows as a PowerPoint presentation.
Open your first class account and keep it open.

Save to FIRST CLASS:

  • You should start to begin the habit of saving all of your completed work onto your first class FILE STORAGE. You should always have a copy of your finished work some place you can always access (your FIRST CLASS account).
  • Look on your first class desktop and select “FILE STORAGE” icon.
  • A new window will appear titled FILE STORAGE.
  • The toolbar has three main buttons that say UPLOAD, DOWNLOAD and NEW.

Dance Dance Dance. It’s almost time to dance again!

2 12 2009

Huskies! Huskies!

It’s almost time for us to dance once again.

In order to make sure everyone gets on the dance floor and at least nods their head to the beat, please write in your journal about what songs you’d like to hear.

These songs must be:

1. They must get you to DANCE , sing along and/or nod your head.

2. They must be appropriate for school which means no INAPPROPRIATE, DISRESPECTFUL, NEGATIVE LYRICS. We want to keep it positive!

And make sure you tell Mr. Loreto, email your song requests to Mr. Loreto

drloreto@cps.edu

In your subject write: “I want to dance at the Winter Social to this SONG!”

Who’s ready to dance?

8th Graders 8th Graders, Give Mr Loreto a Grade
