Thank You Slide, Second to Last Slide

The “Thank You” Slide is the second to last slide in your slide show. The purpose of this slide is to acknowledge anyone or anything you would like to thank in helping you create your project. Use the instructions below to help you create your Thank You Slide.

1. Create a new blank slide.

2. Click on theĀ  “Text Box” button on your toolbar and type the words “Thank You”.

3. Click on the “Text Box” button again and type your first thank you.

4. Repeat step number 3 as many times as you feel is necessary.





Credits Slide, Third to Last Slide

The credits slide is the third to last slide of your slide show. It provides an opportunity acknowledge the author of the slide show and any other people/sources you used to create your slide show. Follow the instructions below to create your “Credits” slide:

1. Create a new slide with Title and Bullets master.

2. In the title section of slide, write “Credits”.

3. In the bullets section of the slide, write the following in the first bullet: “By (Your name).”

4. In the second bullet of the slide, write the following: “Images by/from (insert credit of where you got your photos/images, et cetera)”

  • Use by if you know specifically who created the image.
  • Use from if you used an internet search to find image.

5. If you need to add more credits, do in the other bullets.





About the Author, Slide 2

The second slide in your slide shows should be a slide called “about the author”. Just like in books, the “about the author” slide givesĀ  a brief biography and introduction of the author to the audience by stating some facts about the author’s life. Follow the directions below to make your about the author slide.

Example.
David Loreto is the author.

David was born in 1982.
David loves to watch basketball.

David the sound of thunder storms.

David one day hopes to publish a book.

1. Create a new slide with bullets.

2. Title your slide “About the Author”

3. Type in bullet one, “The author is (type your name here).”

4. Then add three more bullets that state other facts about you. Here are some examples of things that you could use as your facts:

  • (Your Name) was born in (a description of the city you were born in).
  • (Your Name) loves the sound of (insert description).
  • If (Your Name) had a million dollars, (Your Name) would (insert description).
  • (Your Name) write (insert description).
  • (Your Name) is a student at Hernandez Middle School.
  • (Your Name) is a Cubs fan.
  • (Your Name) is a White Sox fan.

5. And your last statement about the author should be:

  • (Your Name) hopes one day to (insert description).
