Describe the perfect day. Give as many details as possible. Provide the setting. The setting is the time and place in a piece of writing or an event. This includes the time of day, year, et cetera. The place where it is including details like the weather, the scenery, the sights, the sounds, the smells, et cetera. Read the example below if you need to get started. Use the words, “A perfect day would be…” to begin.
Mr. Loreto Example:
A perfect day would be one where the phone did not ring. A day where I did not have to do any homework. Or a day where I did not have to drive anywhere. A day I did not have to use my computer. Instead, I would drive in my car to some place far far away. A new place to explore. I would start early in the morning. Take a shower and get dressed. I would wear shorts because it would be nice and cool outside. Sixty degrees is the perfect temperature. I would drive until I found a new diner. One that has pancakes, eggs and orange juice. Then I would leave from my breakfast and meet some new friends. We’d go to a park and maybe play some basketball. Or we’d sit and play some cards. Or maybe listen to the radio and chill.
