You should have your homework with you today in class.

You were asked to bring something from home to write about. It is like show and tell, except it is more like show and write. Your item from home can be lots of different things (a pair of headphones, a book, a stuffed animal), but it must be YOURS. Also, you must tell your parents that you are bringing it to school and make sure it is ok.

Today, in your journal, start a new page and write about your homework. Write a list of things you think about when you see or have your homework item with you. Write everything you can think of in your list. You will have ten minutes to write.

Example. Mr. Loreto’s glasses.

2nd grade, thick lens, falling off my face, hard to play basketball, I lost them on purpose for a summer, so happy when I was old enough to wear contact lens, black, brown, light, square, sight, snow, foggy lens, swimming..
